The next meeting of the Heads of Governments of the Economic Community of West African has been fixed for Abuja this month.The acceptance by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to host the meeting was contained in a statement from the Presidency.
The statement noted disclosed that vital issues bordering on security and the economy of the regional bloc would be discussed at the summit.
The statement quoted the President saying that it was time to seek the cooperation of the sub-region in fighting the scourge of terrorism and illegal activities in the Gulf of Guinea.
