The Nigeria Army says troops of Twenty-Eight Task Force Brigade at Bitta and Pridang have carried out successful raids on suspected Boko Haram terrorists’ camps at Bulajilin and Manawashe villages at the fringes of Sambisa forest.
The Nigerian Army said during the raids yesterday, troops were able to kill thirty Boko Haram terrorists and rescued three hundred and thirty-eight persons from Boko Haram enclaves.

The Nigerian Army said during the raids yesterday, troops were able to kill thirty Boko Haram terrorists and rescued three hundred and thirty-eight persons from Boko Haram enclaves. The Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN said the rescued persons comprised of eight adult male, one hundred and thirty-eight adult female and one hundred and ninety-two children. He said troops also recovered arms and ammunitions during the raid, including one General Purpose Machine Gun and two Dane Guns, and one hundred and fifty rounds of ammunition. The Army spokesman said troops also ambushed and killed four suspected Boko Haram terrorists on a suicide bombing mission to Gubula, in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
