The leadership of the Rundele-Odogu Security Peace and Advisory Committee, ROSPAC has expressed concerns over the criticisms they receive despite their sacrifices towards protecting lives and properties in their communities.

ROSPAC leadership accused some powerful individual of sponsoring and benefiting from the insecurity in the area.

ROSPAC Commander, Chief EMEKA WORI in an interview with our correspondents clarified that ROSPAC does not kill, witch hunt or intimidate anyone but only apprehend and handover suspects to law enforcement agencies for prosecution.

Speaking on the issue of funding which he said is one of the major challenges facing ROSPAC; Chief WORI said they get stipends from the community and not the local government authority.

Reacting to the incident that led to the loss of four lives including three members of ROSPAC in Rumuodogo community, CHIEF WORI blamed the leadership of the community for refusing to allow interested persons to join the local vigilante to fight criminality in the area.
