NPFL MATCHDAY 24: Plateau united extends lead as Rivers united and Lobi stars fall behind (full results)

Plateau united coach, Abdul Maikaba says he was confident his team will win their NPFL match day 24 encounter against Nassarawa united despite the host surrendering their first 1-0 lead to their northern counterpart at the 40th minute in a match that ended 2-1 in favour of united.
Amos Gyang put the home team ahead from the spot in the 27th minute, while Chinedu Ohanachom equalized five minutes before the break.
