A second suspect believed to be listed among the one hundred most-wanted Boko Haram members has been arrested. The Nigerian army said ISHAKU WARDIFEN was picked up by troops at a checkpoint in Maiha town in Adamawa State.

Ethiopia is facing impending food crisis that could cause more than seven hundred and thirty thousand people, who are mainly refugees, to go hungry. To this end; the authorities are looking for relief assistance to the tune of fifty-five million dollars to avert the looming disaster. 

France has joined in calling for international action to check the escalation of violence in Burundi. The French government made the call in a draft resolution at the United Nations Security Council on Monday. France called the council meeting to discuss what has been dubbed as the sores violence in Burundi in ten years.
