Colombian pop singer and dancer, Shakira Isabel Ripoll popularly known as Shakira,who is being accused of evading fourteen point three one million dollar taxes has denied the allegation.

The top artiste faces up to eight years in prison if convicted.

The 45-year-old who vowed to fight Spanish authorities, claimed that the accusation was false.

She said she lodged fourteen point five million euros in taxes.
