a deadly suicide car bomb has hit the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, with at least twenty-four people killed.

Officials said at least forty-two others were injured and there are fears the casualties could rise.

 

The blast occurred in a mainly Shia district in the west of the city. and it struck a bus carrying government employees from the ministry of mines.
